i have recently aquired an 03 clio 1.2 authentique.

one main problem, does anyone know how to lower the biting point on the clutch? I am rather tall and have quite long legs so after 30 mins of driving it i have pains under my knees which i doubt is good for me.

thanks

im afraid they arent adjustable at all on the clios matey, i wanted to do the same on my clio as i found the bite very high but its apparently not possible, not even with a new clutch

Think it must be a Renault thing. Many moons ago when I first bought my Renault 5 Campus I was amazed at how high the biting point of the clutch was though thinking about it I didn't notice the clutch on the Megane Scenic II that I had the other week so maybe it's all better now.

Guess my useless advice of the day is to buy a Scenic, sorry :(

I will have a look at mine later, sure its a cable operated system so some adjustment must be possible ?

Im glad you have mentioned this, because all this time I thought it was just my clio that had a stupidly high biting point. The guy Im selling it to thought that it might be knackered, but I had to reassure that it has always been like that!!
