I bought it for the same price last week, not special edition though!

I just finished the game last night and I really enjoyed it, it was far better than I was expecting after reading all the negative comments.

It is rather a short game though so you may be better off picking it up pre-owned or renting it.
 
well ive bought it now brand new - but i dont think you can argue with 17.99 for limited edition, Its not arrived yet but i had a quick bash on the demo last night and it seems half decent! so we'll see!
 
iv got it on pc, its not really v scary, its a bloody loadfest too, find it a bit fiddly with kbd+mouse, havnt btohered trying to use my 360 controller on it.
Maybes itll pickup a bit.
For the record im playing with 4.1s, was at 4am one night and iv been home alone for a week, i dont leave the lights on.
And i had my sound up loud and have it bassy
 
dont really find that gory tbh, probably cos all the scenery etc and textures are crap tho. Pretty poor engine, like an old one with added things like motion blur - you know the usual that gets overdone.
