I am running Win8 (Though I did have occasional similar problems under 7)

I am getting occasional BSOD with "ClockWatchdogTimer" coming up. On win8 one gets a ":(" face (the text version) and the error message (For those who haven't seen it before).

This only seems to happen while it is in sleep (It wakes itself up so it can crash on me, it would seem  ) I have no apparent running problems.

Now I can live with this provided it doesn't become more of a problem I just wont bother with sleep! (This time of year at least the heat is not unwelcome and the power use should not be considered a waste)

But it would be nice to get to the bottom of it.

As yet, I have not been able to find any dump files. Are they in a different place on 8 or do I have to switch something on first?

Any other suggestions?
