Clocking a 7600GT

Hehe, thought that would get your attention.

How would i go about overclocking a 7600GT, i have no idea where to start.
Any advice vastly appreciated.

Test max clock with ATI Tool and Apply/Save with RivaTuner.

Whats the rest of your spec?
Is the card AGP?

Rivatuner works well, ntune works too... updating to the latest drivers recently saw a boost in my overclocking le-way... so it runs a bit faster now.

My 7600gt used to be 575 core and 700 mem.

my 7600gt did 615core and 840ram although ram could have gone higher but the max was 840 in coolbits.

My GT only does 650Core/750Mem and even that's unstable

core is the main one for those cards, more core speed the better. my old card topped out at 855 on the ram i believe but i wanted to use coolbits to overclock with which limited the ram to 840, brilliant card it was but sold it on for a quicker card.

would the fact that mines AGP severly limit the cards mem oc ability?

My AGP card overclocked very nicely as well. Sold it on though for a 7900GS PCI-E.

Just checked and I had the card running at 666/780 for a while. Seemed stable and didn't crash but I ran it slower 24/7.
