Clocking a Radeon 9550 Help

I want to overclock the Radeon 9550 graphics card. I gave a program called tray tool and also another program were it clocks the card for you but with very little results. Am I missing somthing as my old TI4200 clocked a dream but this Radeon does not like it for some reason.

Any help would be appriciated.

Have you tried ATI Tool?

Aslo might be a bios mod for it. Google it and see.
Some 9550's have overclocked to 450 MHz core and 265 MHz mem.

Catalyst drivers also have an overclock lock so try modded drivers.

Sorry for sounding thick but dont have a clue were to find a modded drivers and is it safe?

Any links to a good one would be most welcome.

I have just tried the ATI tray tools but it wont let me find max mem & GPF does this meen i cant clock it?

Perfectly safe. The bios update would be way more risky and harder to do.

Basically download and install the drivers to remove the overclock lock and use ati tool to do the rest.

Went on that link but dont see were the download is?

It showed me a load of dates and info but no download?

I have been able to remove the lock by using ATI tool but want to make sure im not killing it.

The link above is the same as the one provided on the pop up on ATI tool.

I have increased the core to 300mhz but looking at other links they have gone as high as 450mhz, this card has no fan on it just a cheap heatsink.
