CLOCKS FORWARD THIS SUNDAY !!

Have you seen the campaign for 'Lighter Evenings' by the RoSPA.
They basically want to align our time with the rest of Europe so we have day light longer into the evenings.
This in theory would lead to less accidents, less power usage(lighting/heating) and more tourism.

I think we should just stay on BST all year round though as I just cannot see the point in moving the clocks forward/back in this age.

That would mean it's 1 o clock when the sun is directly south. That's stupid and wrong and the rest of Europe is stupid and wrong for doing it. That fact that we have to put up with these shenanigans for half the year is bad enough without making it the whole year.

Typical for the last week or so I have been waking up around 7am instead of 8am.
<cue spoooky music>
I guess my body is getting ready for summer too.

I noticed that my gf never put any of her clocks back in her flat in October and similar with her car, she didn't put the clock back. I can see why now, because she doesn't have to bother putting them forward again.

Clever girl my lass. She is brunette btw.
