I know it won't last but it's great to wake up in daylight again. I really don't care about the dark evenings but the lighter mornings rock.

Most pointless thing ever.it lasts a whole 7 days before it's dark again. And why is it good driving to work in the light.
Better to have light in evening, when you can actually make use of it.
The whole thing is stupid, pick a time, don't care which and stick with it.

All this "rather have light in the evening where you can make use of it" I don't really get. Yes in the summer light evenings are nice as you can have a barbeque with some drinkies, or sit in the beer garden at the pub. But in winter its too cold for that never mind the dark.

It was changed for the war at first ? they did cease it but found it aids road safety, if you think of kids walking to/from school it makes more sense

You do realise people do things other than try and get drunk in the evenings? And there are these magical things called coats which allow you to go out in the cold while staying warm?

Thirteen hour shift for me

Working 12 hour night shift Saturday 1900 - 0700 which will become 13 hours (luckily get paid the hour's OT), will be a long haul!

You've got me intrigued - please explain

Shouldn't allow people to work these long shifts,Its not good for the health!
No wonder us brits drop dead too early.
