Hello.

I've got a larger SSD coming tomorrow for my Steam/Origin/Uplay games and rather than re-download everything I thought it would be easier to clone the drive as it is.

Can Windows 8.1 do this or do I need to download some specific software?

I asked this very same question the other day.
Just drag'n'drop the contents across to the new drive.
I'm assuming there is no OS on this existing drive?
Either way i think you just copy over the game folders then repoint the steam etc install to the new place.

Regarding your original question, yes Steam can be redirected to another games library. In settings go to Downloads and click on the "Steam Library Folders" button on the top right of the screen. Add Library Folder and choose the other location. Or just install steam directly to the second SSD, whichever is easiest.

Just used the Samsung Data Migration Software for the first time....
I had a Samsung 512GB SSD 840 PRO for windows
I bought the Samsung 1TB SSD 840 EVO and cloned the drive (436gig) and took just 40mins, so far works perfect :)
