Clone HDD to SSD problem

I am trying to clone my HDD to my SSD so I don't have to reinstall windows etc.

I was told to use acronis true image 2011, however this is not picking up my SSD to clone to... I have also tried XXClone and it doesn't find the SSD either.

The SSD is accessible from 'my computer'

Any ideas?

spoke too soon.

deleted my SSD from disk manager then added again through cronis and it found it.
