I have a Vertex 2 that I want to clone to a Vertex 4 drive and they're both the same size. Is there a quick way to do it?

I'd rather not do a fresh install, I've only just got this one fully up and running! :)

Are you using it as a system drive? Either way Acronis True Image will do it, even if the disks are different sizes.

There's a tool in the toolbox called Clone Disk which will do it in Windows if it's not the system drive. Failing that you can create a boot disk that will allow you to clone the system drive upon boot.

Sorry, I should have said it's my boot drive. I like Acronis so that's good. I had read up about using cloneZilla but Acronis will probably be a lot simpler. Cheers.

Easeus Todo Backup (Free).

Seems to do the trick.

I have had various degrees of success/failure with various backup/clone apps, Easeus has been over the past 12 months or so that I`ve been using it.

I used Macrium and it worked perfectly. I didn't try Acronis in the end. Thanks for the suggestions everything is now working perfectly, SSD offset and all!
