Clone the system disk

What is currently recommended practice to clone my C drive? (Win 10)
I want to replace the disk with a RAID 0 and don't really want to re-install at this time.

There are numerous ways of creating an image, but I use Clonezilla most of the time:

Windows actually has a system image creator built in. It creates a VHD image which can be restored from within Windows or via a Windows startup disc

I recently used Acronis (it came with a new SSD I purchased) and it worked a treat.

Does Macrium have a stand alone boot option so I can startup with new disks then clone from the original boot drive connected externally?

Clonezilla doesn't see the raid, it offers both drives as the target drive.
