So my MPS has had it's plates cloned, the old bill have just been round. They were asking loads of questions about where I have been etc.

Apparently it's been used for 'very serious crime' in London, and there is a chance I may be pulled over by armed police if ANPR picks up my plate.

They also said I may never hear from them again, so I'll have no idea when it's all gone away (if).

Anything I should do? I obviously don't need to inform the police. Insurers?

Don't drive around at night in a balaclava holding a walking stick?

In all seriousness i'd make sure you always carry ID with you, if you get pulled over at night turn your dome light on and keep your hands where they can see you...

It might be a good idea to inform your employer so you get a company car for the next month or two when visiting clients.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. So I don't need to get a new reg from DVLA or anything?

I rarely drive my car for work, so that's not a problem.

Police have just been back round. Had to give a statement and sign it.

He said "If you find yourself being followed by 6 police cars, just pull over". No ****.

And put the window(s) down so you can hear any commands. Genuinely no reason to panic or anything though, they aren't going to shoot you.

Oh I know they won't shoot me or anything. It's more of a pain then anything. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I needed to do in relation to possible speeding tickets etc.

what spec is your pc

Me? Why?
