So recently bought a 2tb Sabrent rocket. I have installed it into the m2_1 slot with PCIe enabled. On drive initialisation using disk management, I set it to GPT partition and assumed my old boot drive ssd (samsung 830) was also gpt. But seems that the old boot drive is on MBR partition. If I use acronis true image to clone as is, it says that it will convert the nvme drive to MBR.
Is there an easy way to clone/migrate to the nvme drive as GPT without a fresh windows install ? Can someone give a step by step guide if so ?
Would creating an installation media achieve the same result as a full drive clone ? i.e would it have all the relevant softwares etc.
