My old Samsung F1 1Tb was split into two partitions, one around 250gb which was my boot and the rest was for games.
I have purchased a Samsung F4 320gb (the new boot drive) and a F4 1TB (the new games drive). The plan was the clone the respective old partitions to there new homes on the new drives starting with the boot partition. The problem is that I've cloned the old boot partition to the new F4 320gb but when I try and boot from it nothing happens after the Bios, just a blinking "_" like there's nothing to boot from

I have tried both Clonezilla and HDclone to the same effect, I'm presuming there missing something as I've seen the cloning of boot partitions done without issue before (well I'm pretty sure I have).
Any suggestion as I relay don't want to reinstall windows
