I was looking at get a Bitfenix Shinobi, and i seen OC tech labs do a
watercooled one for £200.
But i can get a Shinobi and somthing like a Corsair H60 for £115.
Is there any difference apart from price, In the cooling of these 2 systems?

Thanks Sean

Yes, closed loops cannot be expanded at all. They're not as quiet as a good custom loops, and the custom loop will normally have better cooling capacity.

With a custom loop you can add a GPU in later

Also, in b4 Stulid with his "Antec 920 is awesome" BS :D:p

The tech labs shinobi is designed to do CPU only really. The shinobi is a lower budget case that doesn't allow expansion of watercooling at a later date. But if you are looking for a CPU cooler, then you will see much better temperatures from the loop in the tech labs solution.

The shinobi tech labs case is our most popular one, and the cooling in it will be spot on for any low to mid range gaming system

Hmm.. think i might save alittle more and go for a custom loop, For the better cooling
and i think it looks cooler :)

Cheers guys

Sean

Watercooling my CPU and GPUs was one of the best PC upgrades I've ever done as the difference is staggering in terms of thermal performance and quietness. I upgraded from a corsair H60 to a custom loop and the performance and noise level speaks for itself.
