Welcome aboard.

Forum rules forbid linking/naming OcUK's competitors (hence your link getting censored) so just remove it.

Anyway that's expensive for what it has:

Basic level 6 core CPU of old generation. (less cores than in new consoles)
For which expensive B550 board makes zero sense.

While also memory is propably very brand overpriced for basic stuff.

Mainstream level graphics card of outdated generation. (also weaker than GPU of new consoles)

Small half TB SSD doesn't belong to PC of that price.
1TB SSDs can be had for below £100 and should be standard in that price PC to fit more than couple big games.

PSU is like 400W oversized for that CPU and GPU.

And stock cooler sucks donkey balls in that price PC.

Well damn I really thought I had it sorted and finally chosen. There’s a reason for all of the things you listed, of what other people advised. The motherboard was suggested for the WiFi, the cpu is meant to be a good base one with a good cooling fan, the psu was because I want to upgrade it in the future. I really thought it was a good deal getting an rtx 2060. I’m lost now I don’t know where to start again lol. Do you have any advise on starting again..? I know I want that case and the basic setup but can you suggest alternatives to those which you highlighted that would maybe lower the price because it’s above my budget and I would only have 8€ left (I was about to buy it before you commented on this.) any help is appreciated.

That’s in pound which would be more in euro. I’m pretty much at my absolute budget so i can’t afford that right now anyway.
If you knock Windows 10 and bull guard off then it comes to €1,336.51 you could also swap then 3070 to a 3060ti which would take another €135 off but I'm not sure how OCUK are with deliveries to ROI right now so you would have to check that first.

Usually suggested parts are ones giving better profits instead of the best possible PC for the money.

Without Zen3 architecture CPU (Ryzen 5xxx) B550 has no real advantage over B450 for gaming.
So unless you're planning to yourself upgrade CPU from that Zen2, there's no benefit from B550.
And it will be still multiple years before PCIe v3 starts to be any kind bottleneck for graphics cards.
At least outside highest end and even with those it will be likely years before difference to PCIe v4 is more than couple percents.

And 3600's stock cooler is basically sized for playing MS Word.
Wraith Prism would actually be quite nice cooler for six core, but that's bundled with 8+ core models.
(and certainly smallish for 12/16 cores)

Unless some time going for the most power hungry graphics cards 650W PSU is well enough.
