Closest you've been to the equator?

Where have you been in the world that's closest to the equator?

For me I think it's Sri Lanka. Although It could be Southern Thailand.

Could be going to Singapore soon, so hoping to beat my record.

Probably Mauritius, which is nowhere near (well, closer than I am now), flown over it a few times though

Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania, so I was very, very close, the equator passes just north of where I was, through Kenya.

Lovely place to visit. Crossed the equator travelling in Kenya.
