Just out of interest what on earth do people download to produce several hundred gig of downloads every month??????

This normally falls into one of three categories:

1. Pirating scum
2. Filthy perverts
3. Idiots who download anything and everything just for the sake of it

you'd be supprised how much bandwith you can use as a serious gamer

couple of 500 mb updates for games, couple of beta games at a 1gig or whatever, couple of udpates for steam, couple of updates on windows updates etc... it soon mounts up.

Games like battlefield are especially fond of their 500mb updates. Same goes with WOW.

granted it doesnt explain 100gb / month or whatever. But these 8gb a month tarriffs etc.. are soon exceeded without touching an illegal download if your a gamer.

Same if you like streaming video sites and internet radio too.

Your favourite station may only consume 10kb/s but that soon adds up. :)

I've churned through 45gb of stuff since the 20th of feb.

Yeah I'm a little confused now because if you recieved the letter from pipex you could just play dumb and say it arrived this morning?

You're just going to have to pick the best of the rest then I'm afraid.

When is be due to go live in your exchange? If you'd played dumb long enough you could've requested your mac code next week and still had it be valid for however long they last for.

No I have a MAC code but I don't know who to switch to...all have some kind ko of FUP/monthly limit :(

You can request another MAC the next day of when your one expires.

All ISP's that run off of BTW i.e. non cable/LLU based operators can not afford unlimited. End of. You are better paying for a hard cap than a FUP as atleast you know where you are. And a ISP that says one thing than another don't deserve to have your custom.

If you are able to get Be, go with them in short. Otherwise Enta resellers, IDnet or Zen are a few of the best* BB suppliers.

Im on UKFSN's MAX 60, which is 60gb peak, 330gb off peak a month, i only use about 40-50gb a month in total with about 10-20 of that being in peak hrs, and i would say i download a fair bit, so if you can't manage on nowt like that jesus  , you must have seperate rigs that are just connected to the net 24/7 downloading films, games, pron etc... :D
