Cloud Computer build for student project

Without going into too much detail, me and a mate are answering the question "Is cloud computing the future?" for an A-level extended project. The college is funding the build and were pretty excited!

Were looking to spend around £400 (We could spend less but hey, its not our money!) We want it to be no fuss and fast access. No big processing tasks just a blazingly fast, quick and stylish internet based PC. Small, lightweight and easy to use. Think "Chromebook" style but on another level.

Oh and the OS is covered by 'Jolicloud' a cloud based Linux Distribution. Thinking a small but fast SSD as well.

Any suggestions? Full build lists would be much appreciated

Probably a little overpowered for Jolicloud, you could get rid of the CD drive or lower the processor.

You might as well get the ivybridge I3 over the sandybridge though, as its more or less the same price but a bit faster and more energy efficient.

Something that supports intel smart connect if thats supported in linux.

Pretty sure Smart Connect:
1. Only applies to ultrabooks,
2. only works in Windows.
