I’ve got a few devices (Windows and Mac) and I’m trying to find a solid cloud backup option.

There’s so many services out there it’s a bit of a minefield, so I’m just after some recommendations based on what’s worked for you?

Thread bump. I've finally sorted out my backup solution. All of my files are on PC which then backup to my NAS downstairs and then that is backed up to a Backblaze B2 account. This is all done through one way syncing. But I read a few comments om a YT video that this way isn't recommended in case of ransomware and the locked/corrupted files go up the chain. Is is better to switch to a backup every X amount of time rather than real time sync?

If I can get a cheap 8TB hard drive, I'm going to use one my spare caddies (convert to an external HDD) and have that as another spare to keep at my mum's but this would only be updated once or twice a year when we/they visit.

yeah that's the risk if you automate it
I use macrium and take images
it has a built-in image guardian to prevent interference
with the images
plus I have 4 hot swap bays in the pc case
so can air gap those easily
plus external ex400u drives that can be air gapped too
