I've been looking at some cloud storage options and Dropbox's 2TB seems the obvious solution, but are there any others out there? Ideally with more than 2TB of space.

Also, for any existing Dropbox users, how exactly does it work? I'm using the free version at the moment which seems to cache files locally as well as having them in the cloud, but how does the 2TB option work as I don't have 2TB of space to cache to.

Hi SI.

I don't know if you will be interested but I came accross these I have created an account with them both.

The main issue with this one is that they have disabled the option to upload video files too but music and pictures are fine.

You can upload video's to this one still.

Even though you may have to download the app via your phone you can uninstall it after you have your extra storage granted to your account.

Both options can be also translated to English in your browser via Chromes automatic translater or if you use firefox you have to download and install an extension.

If your uploading personal stuff then I would either rar and password protect them.

Onedrive has unlimited storage now with Office 365.
You can get office 365 for ~£60 a year aka £6 a month. This will give you 5 accounts with unlimited storage and 5 peoples access to latest office.
I think thats great for £6p/m.
But the onedrive app does leave a lot to be desired as you cant easily choose what to sync and what not to.

That OneDrive deal would be great but if the app doesn't let you choose what you sync then that won't work for me.

Are you sure it's unlimited? looks to be just 1TB from what I can find.

Well, went for Office365 and their OneDrive.. can't say i'm too impressed so far.. uploads seem slow and the App is terrible, it's really struggling to upload and sync folders (even has M$ support looking at the issues).

Same here, sync errors all the time. I want to like it, especially with Office integration but it isn't that great for me.

Never had a problem with my Onedrive. I have 3 machines all syncing to Onedrive. I store all my music / Photos and docs on it. I select what I want to have downloaded and not on each device with Windows 8.1 as I have a tablet with limited storage. Not had an issue yet. I have just been bumped up to 10TB of storage. If i fill this it will then increase. But I doubt i will fill that any time soon. Even with the Raw images I take.
