yes but the result is an uncomfortable movie to watch. Heath issues for many people. Its not a healthy way to watch tv at all. The effect is hardly desirable.

hmmm I thought the whole idea of the film was a monster that came from the depth of the sea and destroyed new york but what do I know..
If its purpose was to shoot the whole thing with an upside down camera still wouldn't make it brilliant.

just got back from going to see it and i was amazed i thought it was awesome. the way it was filmed added more realism and the sound was stunning. im glad ive seen it on the big screen first because it wouldnt have the same effect as on dvd.

Oh dear god I just saw this. If I hadn't paid to see it I would have walked out. That is possibly the worst film I have seen in a loooong while. Me and my mate just looked at each other and shook our heads afterwards, nothing needed to be said. I was faily near the front and saw 4 people leave part way through with audible sighs, not sure how many behind me did the same. This clearly seems to be a love/hate film but I give it a big thumbs down.
Just got back and thought it was bloody amazing!
Me and my mate were so engrossed, the level of immersion the camera perspective gives is fantastic! Every time the camera took a blip towards the end i was crying out inside for the film to not end! I wanted more and more! The ending didnt even leave me unsatisfied as many films do.
Cant help but think towards sequels.

Just got back from seeing this, really enjoyed it, I want to see it again.
There's so going to be a sequel, and the idea of it being from the armies/other survivors (who escape?)'s perspective is a great idea.
I felt that we saw a little TOO much of the monster actually! I would have liked a bit more mystery over it's appearence, but you can't please everyone.
The sound was also fantastic
I was definately on the edge of my seat when they were in the building that was half toppled over.
Edit: Think my favourite scene was when they were in the street and the army came up from behind them out of nowhere, with the tank firing and all sorts, really felt like you were there

Had some good scenes but felt pretty unfulfilled by the end of it, would give it 7.5/10
this movie i cant say was bad but when i left i felt really wierd

hated blair witch, loved this
been to see it twice in two days now (kisses cineworld unlimited card)
before seeing it, i was scared it'd be another 300, -an awesome trailer that shows you all the action to expect in the film
the cloverfield trailers cover about 5% really awesome movie, i won't say more..
as mrk said, go and see this in the cinema, don't watch any knock off's that have appeared on the web
