Cloverfield

right hand side on the horizon. that video isnt high enough quality to see it. Trust me, its there, but hard to spot.

edit/ its not that white bit thats in the box in the picture, its in that area but more up ie on the horizon

What a film, loved it from start to finish. Can't wait for this to come out on Blue-Ray, gonna watch it again and again to see all the "hidden" stuff.

Where?

Nicked from another forums - Imaginary Satellite crash

its right at the end, pretty much where you linked me to.

go to the cinema, buy another ticket and watch it

i guarantee you that it is there!

i didnt notice it the first time, but after the film i was searching on the internet and found out about it. the next day i was bought another ticket so went to see it again and noticed it as clear as day!

I commented about seeing a splash to my mate after leaving the cinema, i hadn't read about any of this stuff before looking at this thread. Something definitely crashes into the ocean, i assumed it was the monster crash landing from space or something similar. My mate didn't see it, but then he isn't very astute...

X marks the spot

Put a nice big X where it crashed.

I noticed the "satellite" hit the water when I watched it. To me, it was really obvious but my friend missed it completely.

how that is going to make any difference to a video where you cannot actually see the satelitte crash i dont know!?

Spot on but as you said, that video quality is crap you wont see it. and No its not a wave lol not unless waves fall from the sky.

I have a question, do you ppl believe in boats? or waves even???

it strange but i think that waves do actually happen?? its erally wierd isnt it.... hmmmm

its isnt a satellite even the ppl who made the film confirmed that though i spose theres nothing like a good conspiracy to keep the public motivated i guess so in the end i believe that it could be ...

a wave :P

all i can say is go watch it, then enjoy being proved wrong.

also waves dont come from the sky;)

so it was a sattelite from space... and everyone else seems to think satelite... (some need to see it again if they think its a wave :p)

Was I the only one on earth that thought the monster came from outer space on an asteroid and splashed into the sea (in the ending scene) then grew into the monster it was :o

To be honest i didnt see it but being a big fan of Lost i know the time and effort that those guys go to add in minor details. I've no doubt it was there, really.

I've just had two dumb girls and their mother in front of the screen with the bad captured video and asked all three what they think the white thing is in the sea on the right of the film and the little white thing to the left of it.
I'm amazed I didn't see it before but my youngest does water skiiing.
Its a boat and the white thing is the wake of it.
In fact if you watch closely you can see the white wake coming from the boat before it gets bigger.

LOL dude that video is crap lol, theres plenty of guys here who have SEEN it on the BIG screen something falls into the water, it miles away in the sea, way to far away for it to be anything small like a wave or boat wake.
