Club/dance charts info?

Keep hearing tracks at clubs/parties and I haven't the foggiest who they're by etc (possibly because I don't follow an interest as much in that music) but does anyone have a link to charts or info of songs that are currently used in clubs?

Completely depends on what type of club you mean.

Commercial (cheesy) club?
Or a specialist club with more specialist genres, like trance nights, or house nights, or breakbeat nights, etc?

Clubs rarely use a set list of tunes for the club. They may be split into genres but even then there will be hundreds upon thousands they chose from.

I guess it's hard for me to explain really - popular ones amongst clubs at the mo etc. Would be good to know where DJs find out about new tunes.

Again, totally depends on type of club and genres of dance music.

Popular trance tracks are nothing like popular house tracks, which in turn are nothing like popular 'chart' dance music that your average joe would like.

Listen to Pete Tong Fridays 19:00 - 21:00 Radio 1, a lot of upto date tunes from different dance genres played on his show.

If your after a decent House CD to start you off, i'd recommend Ministry of Sound - Sessions - Mixed By Andy Cato the album's well over year old now, but its still superb.

Even knowing its commercial electro and house there are still hundreds of tunes that are popular at the moment.
