So my clutch is playing up, gears engage fine, clutch doesn't slip but the pedal when depressed to the floor for more than a few seconds will stick, you can manually bring it back up again and change gears just fine but if you depress it for more than a few seconds it will stick.

Changing gears rapidly, as in pulling away and going through the gears as you accelerate doesn't cause an issue as the clutch pedal isn't down long enough to stick.

slave or master cylinder duff I take it. Any ideas on possible cost for a 2002 honda accord 1.8i

Had a look around and see no sign of leakage on the master or slave cylinders and fluid levels have not changed.

No noise just gets stuck when depressed for a few seconds. When you pull it back up the bite point point is really low, but if you keep it down and in gear the clutch doesn't engage so you can stay stationary.

You need change the master cylinder, worth changing the slave too as they often go one after the other. Should be around £200.

You sure? Sounds more like a lubrication issue to me.

Usually the CMC that goes on this Accord generation with those symptoms, and often the slave goes shortly afterwards.

Took it to a friends garage today, was the master cylinder that's duff, £100 for it to be done so not that bad.

Good stuff, hope it was a decent brand though, the cheap stuff do not last long.
