Clutch

I'm not personally interested in that level of customisation and the winch on the car to get around the corner is a little odd but hope it's good. Ex Forza horizon developers so I expect something at least similar

It's always nice to have more racing games. But I feel like I'm kind of over the whole open world element of these things. Who knows though - maybe it's actually good.

Looks/sounds good... I loved Forza 2 as well as FH4, so the mix of circuit and street would be cool.. as long as it doesn't come with a £100 price tag (holds breath).

He kinda had me until 'UE5', just because I associate it with being a stuttery mess, which is obviously not great for a racing game! I just hope the solution this time isn't "just buy a 5090 bruh"

Gameplay out still a year out from release looks pretty decent includes being able to walk about in places and has a story.

Could be interesting and I know early access but I couldn't help but notice a lot of ghosting on the cars, more noticeable on the rear wings in certain light

Anyone else link Clutch to a streamer type FPS game? cos that was the first thing that came to my mind.
I literally thought it was another veilguard/marathon/concord game.

nice to see another racing game since they mostly became a dead genre without mainstream apeal. which is the opposite of how things were.

Forza horizon isn;t a racing game, its a collection game for people who want collect mascots, billboards, drive every road, take photos of every car, take photos of landmarks.
basically the whole game tries to centre around avoiding racing with so many distractions to keep people away from it.

hopefully the ex forza guys behind this feel the same way.

I was actually thinking the other day a forza game would be awesome if the map was basically individually designed race circuits on a fictional country connected together by rally stages, motorways and B roads.

do we really need city maps and stuff in a racing game they arent really fun to drive around. like toyko in forxa 6 is probably the most avoided part of the map.
