That almost sounds like a complaint..... about free stuff.....
Not complaining, it's just I got a mousemat with my order and I can't see anywhere about it being mentioned as free. Maybe I'm blind.

Hey mr coolermaster rep... could you tell me how the placement of the thumb buttons are on this mouse compared to your very own sentinel zero-g?
Ive had the sentinel for around 2 years, and the thumb buttons are EXACTLY where I want them, but the mouse is playing up a little so I have been looking at alternatives.
In fact, how does this mouse stack up against the zero g in general?
Its a bit difficult to say as they are personal preference. Front to back wise, the thumb buttons are in a similar place, but the mouse is shorter and wider at the tail end, which make it perfect for palm and claw grips. This will change the overall feel of the mouse compared to the SA series of mice which tend to be quite thin where you hold them (or at least thats how it is for me). How do you know you won't like something until you try it
The software is very similar and so are the overall features, meaning all buttons can be reprogrammed, LED colours can be changed, and dpi can be adjusted independently on X vs Y axis.

Got it this morning and the side buttons placement is very good. Love the raised bar on the middle (back) button very similar to the Logitech, although sizes are different so may take a little bit getting used to. The mouse does feel a little wider which I like. Weight feels a bit more on the weighty side of medium. I personally would like the palm section raised a bit more but it's not too far off what I like. About 50% of the bottom is covered in glide pad which is probably the most I've seen. For £20 i'm more than happy. Shame the DPI lights don't change colour though.
If you go to : http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/mice/havoc/
download an install the software, you can customise the lighting on it in 3 areas, the mouse wheel, the dpi buttons and the palm area. These can be set as permanent colours, or be programmed to change when the dpi stepping changes.
EDIT: after about 30 secs of posting this I realised which dpi lights you meant. doh. unfortunately those cannot be changed.
Hi Mr rep. Looks like a nice mouse, and am definitely tempted by it! £9 postage to Ireland is pretty fierce though which is a shame. Shall dwell on it, as it seems excellent for the price.
On a side note, I purchased a Storm Stryker, which is an awesome case. Only problem is that the front DVD covers (is that what they're called?) clips break very easily and when are not there, spoil the look of the case immensely.
Is it possible to buy another 4-5 as its frustrating loosing the looks of the case over something so small!
Eg these things:

I only brought this because it was cheap and if I disliked it I could sell on auction for a profit but tried it and am very surprised! I didn't think I'd like the feel of it but it grips much better than my G500 because of the rubber coating and fits me perfectly, might not need to upgrade to a G502 any time soon now![]()
