Just saw this on GMTV :D. You can get Championship Manager 2010 for £2.51!!

Basically follow the link below which takes you to the Championship Manager shop and they have a scheme to pay what you think it's worth with a minimum of £2.50 to cover the cost of the transaction and 1p to buy the game. Got to be worth £2.51 at least.

Can't go wrong at that price, and I just could never get into FM2009 so might give this a try. FM2009 reminded me too much of a workapplication and it seriously felt like work rather playing a game

I just got this link in an email. Was about to post it here until I saw this thread.

I was tempted for about 15 seconds then I realised I probably wouldn't have played it anyway.

yes you really can, even £2.51 for an unmitigated pile of **** is still a waste of money. I can't believe how much money they are going to rake in for a crap game just because people are buying it for the sake of it, very clever Eidos.

Leave them to it Shami; they are already lost :)

FM is the true or original Championship Manager isnt it? Was there a split in developers? kinda like the whole Arma Operation Flashpoint thing.

FM is the original. When Sports Interactive split with Eidos, Eidos kept the name. Shouldn't be allowed to happen imho. It just misleads consumers into thinking they are getting the original.

Yes but Sports Interactive got to keep the database as far as I know. It is misleading but they both got something from the split - FM made it work to their advantage because they produced a better game.

Having played the previous editions of this game, I wouldn't buy it, if it was 10p with free delivery.

Its not actually CM2010 for £2.51, its that you can pay whatever you want for it, £2.51 is just the minimum transaction charge.

Do you think anyone will actually pay more than £2.51?!
