Cmon Nvidia something new.

I think they just made a pretty big Tesla announcement so probably won't hear anything Geforce for a while, don't wanna use up all the good news at once lol.

I am disappoint if they release a Midrange Maxwell card first, but will probably still be tempted if it's 50%+ faster than a 780Ti.

Yeah, the top of the range will probably only be around 20% faster than a 780ti lol
"Top range" wouldn't be coming on 28nm. If they did, don't expect it to be much faster than the GK110. Chances are GTX880 would be equal or slower to the GTX780Ti, then Nvidia release a 20nm Titan, then release a GTX880Ti on 20nm 6-9 months later.

We're going stir crazy stuck in this 28nm cage! :D

Haha.

Not even that enthusiastic about the first wave of 20nm cards tbh. It's the full fat 20nm cards I want :D, we probably won't see them until the second or third wave of 20nm GPU's.. I expect we'll be fully milked before they give us the good stuff..

Would be awesome if they just went all out with the first 20nm cards, just have a bad feeling we're gonna be drip fed 15% - 20-% upgrades until 2016..
