CMOS Checksum Error?.

i just set up my new pc, using, IP35 Pro, Q6600 and when i turn it on, it says

cmos checksum error, defaults loaded.

what does this mean ive been over the manual cant find it

It was empty, you haven't entered anything & so it loaded the defaults to enable it to power up.

i just did some more searching, seems like everywhere says battery is empty, your just saying to go in and configure?>

Is it everytime you load up?

Try configuring some settings and saving it - if it still happens, check the CMOS battery is seated properly and if it is replace it.

Also check that the CMOS jumper is in the right position.

As above, you should only see it the once as it will be happy with the defaults on the subsequent boots.

seems you were right, inputted some stuff, unplugged it and it went to dvd boot, so batt was fine..

let the thread die

You won't know for sure till you switched the PC off and left it disconnected/switched off from the mains overnight. If the same message appears on boot the next day then suspect the battery.
