hi,
i have recently (in the last 24hrs) noticed that windows wasnt keeping time. so restarted over a few hours, it seemed to keep the same time as the computer was switched off. so i checked the BISOS and updated the correct time, but the same thing happened.
i take it this is a clear sign of the CMOS battery dying - but all the BIOS settings are fine, none have been put back their default, which what i though commonly happend in a failing or dead CMOS bat?
