cod 1 cod uo buffer overun problem

anyone on latest ati drivers play cod 1 or uo and does anyone know how to get round the buffer over run problem when launching game ?
 
Yeah, this really sucks. I had similar problems with Medal of Honor, and the only way I finally managed to solve it was to obtain 'another' working executable.............

Can't say more due to board rules, but you should be able to figure it out.
 
just sorted it by uninstalling ati drivers and reinstalling ati 10.4 game now works and no more buffer overrun :cool:

Useful to know. Just be very careful where you download this from as some of the sites that come up first on Google searches are known malware sites.

This is what has stopped me downloading this. Anyone know of a safe link that they have used? I don't really want to revert back to the 10.4 drivers.
 
maybe we could have a uo revival thread and cod 1 night :D

just played for first time in few years still awesome sounds are bang on the guns are still amazing and rifles are class
