Hardcore mode is the only way to play, yes machine guns are a pain but I've had a hell of a lot more kills with my Deagle and one shot light rifle than I've ever had with a P90.

You can either put up with spray and pray loonies or you have to deal with a constantly on map showing where everyone is which, makes it far too god damn easy and the fact that you can put 4 or 5 bullets into someone's torso and they just keep coming.

At least in HC one shot can make a difference, you have to learn to react faster and aim better imho.
 
Well just downloading the 2 patchs 1.6 the 1.6 to 1.7 :)

Pick it up tomorrow morning, £22.70 by the time i have paid stupid parking lol

Looking forward to some games.

Its also easier to die faster in HC meaning you have to be better if you want to survive! :P

Although, I remember the one thing that really annoys me with it, the ability to shoot through 3 walls and still kill someone! :( Is the newest WWII one the same?

I hate all this shooting through walls crap as well.
 
I'm planning on playing COD4 On-Line in the very near future, once I've built my new PC.

A few years ago I started playing Sniper versions of the game, got fed up of frag fest servers. Came across this clan who now run on a COD4 server.

HC mode is lot more fast paced and entertaining imo. normal mode annoys me with all that hud then the time it takes you to kill somone, some other chap is having a pop.
 
cod4 will be pld for a long time even after mw2
i still reckon ppl will continue playing it just like
cs1.6 was pld for such a long time even after css

I play CoD4 every day !! I change my weapons nearly every week. I always play hardcore. This game is awesome! There is still hundreds of servers out there.

I mostly play sabotage, I love trying to plant the bomb, I get killed loads of times doing it, but it's great when I do plant and it goes off.

At the moment, I'm playing with a C4 perk - been doing this for a week now - It was so hard to kill peeps with C4, always getting killed trying to do it, unless they were close and I'd do a knife kill for close quarters whilst planting it.

I love doing my C4 kills on snipers,little camping buggers, I sneak up on them using UAV and Silence, plant it next to them, have a giggle and boom ! That ****es them off big time.

Yeah CoD4 is awesome.
 
ye bf2 is a lot better and harder aswell, plus it takes more skill, as soon as u have an airstrike in cod 4 u get like 10 kills easy, too easy. BF2 takes skill, also better teamwork aswell
