COD:4 question

Not sure if this is allowed or not but here goes. If not then sorry.

I got myself a "test" copy of the game to see if I liked it or not. Since I love it I went out and bought an original today.

In order for me to keep my saved games etc, do I just install the legit copy over the top of the old one and use the new key?

I did the same as you, i don't see anything too bad about it since you ended up paying the full amount for the game.

I uninstalled the original game, but unchecked the delete savegames box during the uninstall and it worked fine.

Its well worth the purchase for the multiplayer alone.

[EDIT] Side note not worth creating a new thread for - when do i get a cool gangster avatar? I wanna be Tony Soprano D:

Have a look in your user CP you should be able to select one at 415 posts. If you can't find it then instructions are in the FAQ.

For Tony Soprano it's a thousand posts. I donated some posts that's why I have him atm.
