Ok i bought modern warefare yesterday and by yesterday evening i had completed it. was that it after you throw a knife at Spencers head?

Nah there are 4 more secret levels. When you threw the knife did you not see the quick time event. Right trigger XYYBAABBXX then you get the extended levels. Which are better than anything in the 'normal game'.

I still cant fathom how to shoot when sat on top of the camel on the Egypt level...

My line of sight is always blocked by a hump

until they are too close and kill me :/

Done it on Veteran, collected the intel, done Pit Boss, Ghost, Colonel Sanderson, Spec Ops etc?

When you get to the last few levels you can kind of tell what's gonna happen at the end. The story is ****, to be frank.

There were some decent moments in the game, like climbing the rock face for the first time, and driving the snowmobiles, but that's about where the fun ended. It just seemed predictable and boring to me and I enjoyed Modern Warfare much more. The Spec Ops mode is fun to play with a friend but this game is boring to me already seeing as they have hardly tweaked the gameplay. Feels more like a mod of COD 4 than a brand new game.

Also the Multiplayer on PC is broken.

I heard that for PC users they have teken down the servers.

Not sure the only thing i was told in the local game shop was MODW2 servers have been taken offline.
