Coming soon says its available now but rumours are only for PlayStation 4 as Sony paid for exclusive rights apparently so hopefully PC is soon!

Should add this is rumoured as SP only apparently all the MP & co-op stuff was removed so no co-op which was one of the best features of the original! Adding that the spec ops co-op missions are rumoured to be included in the latest COD Modern Warfare 2019 title to drive sales on that so you need to own that to play those !

Some of this remaster looks really good :D  on PS4 PC will look way better! Why on earth they are taking so long to allow people to buy it or even put out a press release is silly as so many people around in the daytime would love to play this right now ;)

£25 for a six hour campaign.
Takes a lot longer if you get all the higher level rewards & the 3 Stars in the Spec-Ops modes (which will be exclusive to the COD MW 2019 full game). But yeah its a lot of money considering the SP was finished about 2 years ago & sat on the shelf waiting for Activision to decide when to release. Look at it this way if you could go to the cinema that would cost more than £25 for 3 movies ;)

Shame the multiplayer wont be included. Loved the MW2 multiplayer and some of the maps.

Intervention+Thermal scope with a Spas12 shotgun as a secondary weapon was the perfect build for fun

With the balance as it was, would multiplayer even be worth it?

Dropshots, UMP, dual shotties, dagger runs, i'm sure there were more i forget.

If balance was addressed i'd enjoy playing it again.

I embraced all of that. It was the spirit of the game. Only thing in my opinion that was actually broken was the akimbo model 1886 and the fact that killstreaks added to other kill streaks. Meaning really to end a game you only needed 7 kills.

Otherwise I'd say it was my favourite MW game.

If that was the only part of the game i'd be cool with it, but having a few useable guns out of many combos killed it for me in the end. Thoroughly enjoyed it before that though.

The other thing that annoyed me with COD was k/d and kill recording in objective games. I remember domination was just death match/slayer.

If they fixed such issues it would have been a top game imo.

Good, though MW2 did worse out of them all at that time, MW3 did a bit of a comeback.

I seem to remember the jeep in game video trailer being used to promote it before game came out (Unless I am mixing it up with another game after I read about the no Russian part).

Wow this brings back memories! I remember playing the epilogue "Mile high club" for ages trying to complete it on veteran mode! I really enjoy the campaign in this game. And then finding out that shotguns had mega hip firing range and accuracy with the stead aim perk and a grip. Like @The_Arbiter said once you figured the weapon combos and sets out it got quite monotonous. Although the prestige mode's is what had me suckered in for a long time. Ah the nostalgia! I might pick it up again when it comes out :D

I think Mile High Club was the first MW

Is it me or does some of the animation look really janky? Especially when a character is holding something. It's very noticeable in the wrist, elbow and neck joints.
