COD: MW2

I am sure I read its going to be using the same engine as Vanguard, not 100% sure though, might of just imagined reading that haha
Vanguard feels slightly off to me. I guess it does to many too, which is probably why Warzone is still using the Modern Warfare 2019 engine instead of Cold war or Vanguard. Also, sound in Vanguard sucks balls

See ive found Vanguard to feel good to play, the movement always feel fluid for me. However the sound is absolute trash

This really can't come soon enough. Regular multiplayer is borderline unplayable now due to the lag in pretty much ever match.
Really, i've had no problems with lag other than one game where packet loss was 25-50% and everyone was timing out. That was one game out of maybe 50 when i've had lag recently.
I'm loving resurgence soles and duos

I don't play Warzone but I expect its much more popular than the regular Multiplayer. To make things worse I only play the Hardcore playlist so I expect the fact the game is a few years old and I play a niche mode makes the playerbase really small.

Had a few atrocious games this morning. Where the lag was killing any enjoyment.

No lag this morning at all for me but there are still things that infuriante me. Automatically sticking to ladders when you dont want and no not being able to jump over / up some rocks or over certain objects. Cost me the game twice

Just had 4 games, latency wise i'm 20-25ms I would say 95% of the time

I wish the regular multiplayer performed that well for me :(
What connection do you have? I am on FTTP 500/500 (someone must be uploading in my block)

What do people think is teh best online FPS at the moment? I've not really dabbled since bad company 2 which was uttertly epic... a COD game? thres quite a confusing number of COD games to choose from, and the recent battlefiled games seem to have a bit of a bad rep?

Warzone / Modern Warfare multiplayer without a doubt. Unfortunately with a player base of 125 million and upto 500,000 people online at once (!?) there are cheaters/hackers and/or some insane skill level.

I was just in a game of resurgance solos (a Warzone mode) when I landed in an area and hid for 30 seconds so I could drop back in.
I was still and hidden for 25 seconds yet someone ran in and seemed to know exactly were I was, ADS walked around a corner and headshot killed me. How he knew where I was I do not know - no snapshot grenades, no HR scanner, possible UAV but it was so exact. I was hiding in Prison, in one of the small cells. I reckon the hacker/cheating in some way player base is at least 15%

I also loved BC2, and while there are some differences in how the game plays I'd say that MW2019 appealed to me in the same way. The addition of the Ground War mode made it more BC2-like rather than just the smaller traditional CoD style modes. I skipped Cold War and Vanguard but hopefully they won't screw up MW2022, in which case I'll be up for it.
