COD:WAW 360 MP Arranging Thread

Good night last night folks, managed to rank up and got a decent class set up finally so should be better next time round.

Would i have needed to complete the game to join you in zombie ?

Ill be on tonight from around the same time :)
 
I love it , and im crap. Although i feel better for getting on this one as early as everyone else , at least ill get my head around the maps at a similair pace.

Flags take far too long to capture though , after sitting on the mofos for a good minute someone always snipes me lol.

I just wanna play it like I did on 4 and kick arse, when we get together on Domination we never lose.

Just seems that I can't see anyone, next moment Im dead with no chance of hiding or even fighting back.

I can go in a room with 2 people and cause the hit recognition seems wonky along with guns that mean you cant see anything due to the awful recoil, you can't effortlessly take them out.

Dont get me start on last stand either, the delay between going into last stand and then being able to finish them off is even bigger than in 4.

Problem is that COD4 was perfect...
 
4 was far from perfect your just viewing it from the point of 1 years experience. It has also been patched multiple times to clear up issues. There where just as many issues with 4 on release as currently with WaW.

4 was a grenade spam fest. The maps have nowhere near the depth and has become sniper city on most maps.

WaW is definately harder. My kill ratio in 4 although not good is much worse on WaW. That's because you can't learn all the maps in 5 minutes like you can in 4. The people are also much harder to spot.

Also remember you are playing hardcore, something I didn't do on 4 for a long long time. I spent a few months playing Domo and HQ which helps you rank up the guns and find which ones you like and hate.

On a night of those you can rank up 2 or 3 guns. I've barely done half a gun so far playing HC for two nights. The guns take a lot more effort.
 
I remember playing the beta then though, I couldn't put it down.

I got to rank 12 on Waw beta then couldnt be arsed.

I'll give it more time dont worry, might be better when I get some sights on these pea shooter guns :D

Shame there is no pedigree chum perk either :(
 
I'm going to give hardcore a miss for now, I'd rather rank up which aint happening playing hardcore.

As for HC, I love it, makes rifles the weapon of choice instead of SMG's.
Dommo and HQ, you just have to use a machine gun as rifles just get totally outclassed.

What Si said about not being able to run into a room with 2 people and kill them both is actuall better for me. you should not be able to do that. If they are both facing you shooting (and are any good at the game) then chances are they will kill you before you can kill either of them.
I have seen many many more people working together in this, playing in pairs and it works!
We get beaten because we run around like headless chickens where as they work together. So many time have I seen someone and just as I was about to shoot him his mate shot me from the side or from behind.

You just need to get used to the maps and find the 2 or 3 weapons that work for you.
Its harder than 4 because the sight is only unlocked at 75 kills and the weapons are a lot more varied.

After playing COD4 for 12 months most people have decided on a few weapon combos that they use and rarely vary it. WAW will be the same in a few months.

As for tanks, I was one of the biggest critics of tanks before the game came out and they are not as bad as I had feared. They are quite weak in the normal game, often taking 2 shots to kill someone. HC, yes they are a bit overpowering but they are easily avoidable.
