COD:WAW 360 MP Arranging Thread

Was thinking of trading Dead Space/Frontlines in tomorrow to get this, but now am stuck between getting this or another 120GB drive for my 2nd console for installations...

Is this game likely to have a lively player base for some time? I suppose I could live without it for a while having Gears 2 and with L4D coming tomorrow, but if its likely to die off soon on MP, then may get it sooner rather than later.
 
Played some more tonight, the spawning is a joke on TDM.

Then I stuck 4 in. Seriously it is miles better, play it now after Waw and you see what I mean.

Hit recognition is perfect, the game feels so crisp and even 1 year old it still feels new - Graphics still impress. Just had a go on pipeline on free for all, 25-5.

I just wish they could do some more maps on 4. I really wanted to like Waw, it has all the right ingredients but I have said it in the beta it still feels like COD3

bah, microphone stopped working during zombie. i tried to spell it out by shooting on the floor 'no sound' but it would disappear or none of you would look down :o

I really wasn't in the mood for talking last night as I was knackered.
I think if we would have been talking we could have got a couple of levels higher.

I think you were still stuck in your party? You invited me in mind you and I still couldnt here you.

Never mind. To be fair it was my fault they got in - I had 3 at one window and 4 at the other and my Thompson was really struggling with killing them, despite blatent point blank headshots.

Ah well, Zombie mode is great fun.
 
I'm still really liking it /shrug

I'll be avoiding HC for now though, that game mode just gets on my nerves.

Edit: And none of you buggers sent me an invite last night!

To throw an "outsider" view on it , ive only had my xbox for 2 - 3 months and never played fps on a pad before , only just got used to it.

I cant say that i notice any difference between 4 and 5 in terms of aiming/gameplay/accuracy etc.. and im equally as good ( or as poor ) on both games so perhaps it is down to being used to 4 thats impairing some people.

I intend to play both for quite a while yet though :D
 
Stop the 4 was better or W@W is better!! Both are great games, both are the same game in essence, neither is a bad game, the reason some ppl played World at War and said "I got to x lvl then got bored, this didn't happen with cod4" is because you played cod4 so much, but never wanted to start again which is essentially what you're doing here :p

Anyways, I love them both, and /facepalm to you all :D
 
Ive only gone and bought this!.. :rolleyes: :D

Now I can join the WaW or GoW gamers, depending on whose about.
