COD:WAW 360 MP Arranging Thread

Are the bolt actions not one shot kill now? Regardless of game mode. Ill just use an SMG if thats the case if only to unlock the other stuff and weapon attachments.

I think the M16 red dot meant you were capable from level 5. This seems to really reward the higher ranks with the better weapons.

Thats a very valid point, where as it's a struggle with the early weapons in WaW. Last night looking at the weapons and magazine sizes people where killing me with in HQ made it much easier for them.

We have jumped into a game we dont know the maps on and are playing HC. Your bound to get totally battered. I get killed then have to up D pad to find out where the hell I've spawned.

All the complaints I hear about WaW in game I heard in Cod4.

Spawning, Hit recognition, lag, weapon balance are all the same problems as COD4. 4 has just had longer to patch and balance issues.

I'm going to just stick to domination and HQ til i'm confident with the maps. Plus I was getting around 700xp a game last night doing that and only about 60xp playing a HC game of team DM.

I want to level up and try all the guns atleast once.

Exactly my feelings, personally I think it's too early to be playing HC - especially if you want to level up some time this century.

Blimey. I was getting around that. Other than a 200xp 20-2 game where I sat in a tank like a Wiggis, sorry a fag. Seems like that could be the way to rank up.... which I did suggest last night but my rank was too low to make such executive decisions.

Yeah It makes a huge difference. My mate that was playing with us was rank 18 and had played for two hours on HQ. After you left he suggested we play HQ and we lost a few games with over 400XP.

My kill stats were also much closer to my 0.75 on Cod4. I was also at the top or near the top in every game.

HC even when you win doesn't give enough points imho on this game.

The other thing with HC that doesn't help a new map player is you cannot see where your getting shot from.

Yeah we will try normal as I was doing much betta on the beta (see what I did there)

Also on this game if you see someone running miles away you will shoot them, Cod4 wouldnt be like that, you would try and get closer to them. It seems that Waw fighting is a lot further away, COD4 is much closer fighting.

From this it comes down to hit recognition, close up Waw seems to struggle to work properly IME, 3 blantent shots on a guy didnt kill a guy last night on a 4 bar connection. This is my biggest fustration, shots from the other team from the other side of the map will put you down in one shot.

As said though HC mode isn't helping me learn the game
