Hopefully we will be getting beta codes for a downloadable demo this Friday.

Just looking at some of the stuff. I dont think this is as good as a chopper:

** Unleash the dogs (7 Kills):

Kill seven enemies without dying and you enable the ability to call in attack dogs, which will sniff out any enemies on the map. Unlike COD4, attack dogs will find you regardless of where you hide, making it exceedingly difficult to avoid them. Furthermore, killing the attack dogs will only save you temporarily as the hounds will respawn if killed until their time limit/ kill limit has expired.

Sounds a bit gash, I suppose it gives you a bit more of a chance than being railed by a chopper 5 times in a row.

Thought it has an arming distance on CoD4? If so, how can it be a "noobtube"

Scort.

Cause at the start of search and destroy people will just noobtube the spawn on certain maps. You can't even get out before getting toobed at times.

How come people don't move away from the expected fire, iirc (not played CoD4 for ages) everyone starts at the same time, unless it is really laggy

Its hard to get the whole team out without one of them getting toobed.

And no its nothing to do with lag

Just got the code.

"As a bonus you will be one of the select few users to be invitedto the Call of Duty: World at War BETA trial for Xbox 360 or PC,depending on the platform you registered on the site.Plus you will have exclusive access to unlock the M1A1 carbinein multiplayer on the day of release!Keep checking your email regualry for the secret codes, andagain thanks for pre-ordering."

Lol nice spelling

Just a quick question, do you think CoD: WaW will be as good as CoD4 (in terms of both single-player and online of course) or are we getting another rather crap installment in the series from Treyarch?

How on earth can anyone answer that.

I am hoping for a decent game as it is using the same engine as COD4. Hopefully they have simply improved on what IW did with 4.

The maps are well confusing.

Feels like COD3 online with the way you die and people seem to kill you instantly

Im liking it, Needs a different play style to COD4 though, but there certainly are no pinch points on the 3 beta maps like the COD4 maps, they are also very big. It's a lot harder to see people, often only muzzle flash gives them away. Feels more tactical

Dogs are a pain if you dont have a machine gun, and the games shot registering isn't as crisp as 4. However it is good, the new map styles certainly offer something new.

We have been playing teamdeath match too, which I don't really like that much. Search and destroy etc should be very good (if they implement it that is)

They still have the War mode like they had on COD3.

Water effects are ncie too, grenades make a nice big ripple when they go off in the water.

Got to rank 9 at the moment in a few hours of play. One annoying thing still bugs me in this that was present in COD4, when you die and you've thrown a grenade or fired a rocket it disppears and does no damage the second you die! Other than that it's pretty decent! Maps are pretty varied and larger.

That never is the case

Definately does. I even saw it on his killcam as well. The second he killed me the grenade that landed next to him didn't explode and disappeared. Got to the max Level 11 just now. I take it this rank carries over into the full game? Do the completed challenges carry over?

Rubbish, grenades carry on.
