COD WORLD AT WAR

If anyone like has been given the new COD 5 Game world at war for your pc like me you will probably find that you are having all sorts of problems, I was fortunate to obtain this game two ago as an early pressent from my wife, how ever as I have got all COD games on pc platform and with all the advertising about this release you can guess how I felt when for the first time ever a COD game did not work, I contacted Activision they say its the drives on my computer, they are all up to date and well above the specs required to play this game, and if any one does a web search for cod problems there are hundreds of people with the same thing, Tesco will not refund for the item as there have been so many complaints they advised to contact Actision, well it is now in the hands of the Trading Standards Agency and I have also reported this to the head office in Santa Monica California and also there office in Stockley Park West Drayton, if you have the same problem let me know so this info can be forwarded to Activision, but this is only for the pc platform.

what actually happens? does it give you an error when it loads? does it just give you a black screen? do you get into the menu?

A reinstall cured it.

Installed and running on my PC no problems. Not really clear from the OP what the problem is, whether running on XP or Vista, whether it's an install or run issue.

Only issue I had is with those goddam fragging grenades every few seconds...

Only problem with that, is: COD2 > COD4 (COD4 is too easy tbh, as you can just get away with spray and pray all the time)

I had problems with my disc, the drive wouldn't recognise it so had to send for a replacement. Once i got it though, it worked fine and im loving it, infact more so than COD4.

Had no problems with Call of Duty games period, had problems with Punkbuster however.
