Think read somewhere that Brothers in Arms took the authenticity a bit further by actually travelling to france and hand measuring certain areas that were to be put in the game.

Agree about Band Of Brothers; a must have for a WW2 fan or anyone who enjoys film.

I did it when bored, not for a purpose either, i just decided to watch my most enjoyable one (Bastogne) and then just went from there

another band of brothers fan
cos i missed the first episode i refused to watch the rest until i got the boxset.
easily the best ww2 filmology.

of course many ww2 games look familiar....
