There were some moments in D-Day, Caen, heck all the missions where I thought I was beat. If there was a swear box in the house I'd had have to remortgaged the house by now as well

Any way, bragging rights earned

I traded it in because there is very limited MP support. Lag is apprently quite bad.

On a plus side I believe there is a patch to rectify most of the user complaints

Just recieved my headset this morning and for me there is no lag at all, dont know if thats because I upgraded to the new patch or not as I never tried multi-player before installing it.

It's defo worth it just for single player. IMO veteran mode was the best FPS game I have ever played. Really is a shame about the current (IMO) m/p support.

I completed this on Veteran a week ago or so. Some of the missions are near impossible!

The mission smcshaw mentions above where you take the HQ done my absolute tree in! Finally clear the whole house after dieing various times inside it then go outside to be shot by some guy in a window! Total nightmare!

Glad i completed it though.

FOUR HOURS it's taken for me to take the last bunker on hill 400!! FOUR HOURS of the same checkpoint.

I take my hat off to you who've done it. Jeez.

Quick Question: I have finished the game on medium difficulty (what ever was below hardened) I have completed one Veteran mission however I want to get all the Gamer Points if i play through on Veteran all the way through the game will it unlock all the gamer points? Including the individual missions it want's you to complete?

Yep, you get your gamer points through the completion of Veteran mode.

I finished COD2 on vet this week also. The last bunker on Hill 400 is just a case of sit and pick people off for a while (think i had a sniper rifle) and then smoke your way through...
I noticed that the enemies seem to respawn until you advance in some places, maybe they dont but it feels that way... :¬|
Absoultely amazing game though. Beating Ninja Gaiden on normal was MUCH more of an achievement that this on veteran though... lol
