cod3 live question

Hi all

only had my 360 for a week and still trying to learn the tricks of the trade,

if my mate is playing cod3 already in a server playing etc. is it possible for me to join the game that he is playing in? and if so how do u do this?

If he opens his xbox guide and selects your name he can select "Invite to game" this will send you a message including an invite. By accepting it, your game will connect up to his server and you can play away!

just get him to send you an invite when you get it accept and should log you into the game .

ok so i can only join if im invited cant invite myself lol, and this works even if he didnt start his own? as we only tried it with a one on one that he set up

yeah should work even if someone else created the match .

Not tried this in CoD3 yet but it worked in CoD2. To join his game without being invited, press your Guide button, select your mate from your friends list and an option should appear in the list on the left called something like "Join session in progress".

If you select this, it will try and join the game he's currently in. This may or may not work depending on if the map is full and all players are connectable.
