COD4 Controls !?

Finally got Punkpuster to stop getting me kicked out of servers, but now im having a nightmare with the controls.

Why can i not use the number pad? Is this a bug? Surely not, its been out long enough! Or is it just me?

what is the number pad for :/ shouldn't you be using that hand on the mouse?

Indeed number pad, whats that for!
And yeah i agree the controls are somewhat weird in the cod4, but alright after a while.

Whats different in CoD4 compared to any other FPS? Why would you use the numpad?

just make a macro if you can

surley you can just do it manually though? Are you trying to get to high places?

Reminds me of the pathetic jumpers in CS before version 1.3.

Not at all mate ... just reminds me of CS players who used to jump around the place in cs < 1.3 as you could aim perfectly in the air hence making you a harder target.

turn off numlock and it will work

I've always used the cursor keys to move, dont like using WASD keys. I like to use the 0/Ins key to reload and 1/End to go prone etc.

Why would use of the num pad suddenly be disabled?

Anyone wanna buy COD4 :mad:

how did you get punkbuster working ?
mine keeps of kicking me and i have updated pb as well ?
any idea's on how you done it would be great.

I added a Punkbuster setting to my router with UDP port 27666

yes, i too am in the 5213 club, and it is the numberlock you need to turn off to make work.

What, do i have to turn it off before i set the controls up?

How come you can't change the controls when you're in the game :confused:
