CoD4 is a tenser multiplayer game than Halo 3. It's easier for you to die, it's harder to spot enemies, people camp all over the place, and there are several game modes where you can spend long periods dead. As such, I (and most others, I imagine) concentrate more on playign the game when alive.
Halo 3 is the opposite. You have more time to react to getting shot, and dying has very little penalty. Thus, there's more opportunity to chat with friends. Also, vehicles.
It's hardly rocket science.

What they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. I don't think there are any CoD4 maps I hate playing bar that retarded small one all the Americans bum.
How about the ability to edit maps, create modes, things like rocket racing or hammer matches?
Stuff like that is a lot more social than CoD4. The ability to go into the editor and have other people spectate and chat to you is a great idea. I don't know how people don't see Halo3 as more social.

It just amuses me that people are pathetic enough to tell me off when someone says "something bad about your beloved game" and yet they hugely over react when someone tells them their own "beloved game" is slightly less social that another. "lols on toast" indeedy

The reason I never followed it up is because I didnt have to or need to. I stated a fact, there is no argument or discussion about it. COD4 IS the more popular online game according to Live stats.

I have no problem with CoD4 being more popular, it's easily the better game, but it is not perfect. The reason for all the girls comments is they cannot use logic or reasoning
I'm completely open about who I am and how I address people. I think the sly comments and sniping are far worse than my blatant ramblings. If it makes me look desperate then you're getting the wrong impression as I honestly don't care that much about the games or peoples opinions of me but I do enjoy discussions on these forums

3 way split screen is fine, 4 way can have a few framerate drop if everyone is using explosives but nothing major.
You need 1 live account and everyone else can play as guests. Naturally you can't play ranked games with your guests.

I know COD 4 is far from perfect, ask anyone who has played this with me and they'll tell you i don't think it's perfect.
The fact it, it's down to the people you play with that make a game more sociable, open your eyes you mug. Stop bumming your halo disc and accept it's not the best MP game out.
