COD4 Mods?

Hi

I have started playing a few of the mod games for COD4. Which ones do you guys like playing?

I like zombies 1.41

There was a Res Evil one but it looked more like the first version of doom.

Any others people can sugges that are fun?

Give me the I.P. to a U.S. server and I'll top the scoreboard with my AMD 64 3500+ and a 7600gt which gives me around 60 fps.
 
I play on a modded realism server, no lasers on claymores everyone has 30HP like the stock harcore. Airstrike's/ UAV's and heli's have been modded out and perks are limited, no martydom, dead silence last stand etc.

Ping is a weak excuse for not playing well.
 
No it's not an excuse, it's a fact.

If your bullets aren't going where your aiming at that point in time you ARE gonna have issues.

Warping across the battlefield - Yea it's all an 'excuse'.

I.P. to this Pro mod server and I'll bring you back some top scores.

You dont "warp" across the screen, there are Australian members in the clan I'm who play with a 300+ ping and they dont warp across the screen. Also try adjusting to your surroundings if you need to aim infront of the guy to hit him then do so.

Also try cl_maxpackets (15-100) to lower your ping.

Point taken with the Pro mod a low ping is definately needed. (people actually enjoy playing that mod??) :confused:


For servers that are using a competive league mods where reflex's are important ping would be an issue. However for other servers that you can enjoy playing on daily I would be more concerned about the general atmosphere, no bunny hopping aswell as other factors.

Since this was only the 3rd map I thought I was doing well. I left the server on that map with around a 1.5:1 ratio.

I didnt mention anything about not doing well with 130ms. I actually find it a lot easier having a high ping as its harder for them to hit you. So generally I only play on servers that are around the 30-40 mark.

So Pro mod is one to look out for then?
 
people with high ping shouldnt be allowed on a low pinging server nothing worse than some matrix lagg mfer :p or we should all just lagg bind for the hell of it so we cant be hit.if i have over a hundred ping i wouldnt play online.
