The only problem with that though is that they instantly know where you are if you chuck it on the bomb and just launch grenades at you.
It's best to throw it, then sit back and wait for them to come running forward.
Another thing I try to do when I'm the last one left is throw a grenade as far away from me as possible, hopefully towards the bomb I aint near in the hopes it will trick them into thinking thats where I am.
Never works though!
Oh and my favourite guns for search and destory are the M16 and MP5 with either silencers or red dots.

I have tried this a few times with mixed results.
I find using it as cover still works the best.
It also works very well in retrieving the bomb as if the opponent sees someone drop it they will often camp on it or in Faded's case lay claymores on it!

i normaly just use the ak47 with red dot,i like it best because it hits pretty hard and for killing a group of people or clearing a building i think it works well.
I think we do well as we have a mix of players.
Wiggis and faded like to get involved but are cautious, bit like me if I'm not sniping. Then we have some who run right in and some who sit back (especially my mate Tom if he joins us who is a bit handy with a sniper)
Plus we take up positions to tell each other where the enemy are etc. All this is BS though as once oneshot is off his lead he runs straight in and wipes them all out anyway, then dies and finishes the rest off with last stand

a lot of the time i go straight off and get shot lol,that guy ash was pretty good last night.You guys not find it frustrating when your dead and watching the last guy left,and say if the bad guys are about to switch the deactivate the bomb,i am normaly shouting chuck a nade,or run!!!!!! lol
Also when you watch some players they never seem take cover they just stand and get shot,some of those americans last night did it.instead of ducking down behind walls or cars they just stand.

It's a great tactic, worked a couple of times last night for me.
If it doesn't kill them because they aint paying attention they still have to destroy them which completely gives away their position.

i noticed last night when i was deactivating the bomb on one of the matches,the mobile phone in the briefcase has a wallpaper of a smiling bomb that says BOOOM!!! lol.
Just remembered Simon's victory dance from last night. lol
Wiggis was saying that he hoped he would run into a claymore while he was running around looking at the sky
I think I would have actually p**** myself laughing if he did

When Simon is the last man we all get frustrated and keep shouting at the screen "RUN MAN!!!!" LOL
Still he is last man probably 75% of the time so he must be doing something right!
I watched oneshot last night try and destroy a couple of claymores, and both times he was too close and just killed himself anyway LOL!

lol the one on overgrown,i was miles away and it got me,well it seemed like miles away.Who was the kid last night who was screaming in some wierd language,he sounded like that german kid on youtube who is smashing up his pc.I am sure it was the kid called static wind
Dunno, but that Static Wind was one hell of a sniper,
On the few occasions he managed to not get hit by your NoobTube he sniped me from accross the map every single game within the first 10 seconds of play!
It was always me and it was always before I could actually move out of the way.
The guy just knew exactly where I was and also you could never find him either.
