COD4 MP Live arranging thread

Just got internet turned back on the other day, and after a nice load of updates (quite liking the nxe) was glad to see when I fired up COD4 there was a good sized group of folk playing.

Do have to admit that I am now completely poo at this game! been playing so many other games and cant quite get the hang of COD4 again,,

Whats with the clan tag?
 
Good to see you back online mate, although your much quieter than I remember.

As for the clan tag, blame Slinky for that, he started it and it just kinda stuck.
 
Yeah Slinky started it, then MadFruit did his own version then everyone just did it, not really a clan tag, just makes it easier to see when one of us have dropped out of a lobby!

And as wiggis said, use your mic! Only oneshot is allowed to be the silent assasin. :D
 
The battery's were about to go in my controller last night, so though I would save as much power by not using the mic, got some new battery's this morning, so will be fine for next time, really need to go and buy a play and charge kit or whatever it is..... Battery's are costing me a fortune..

Time to finally finish getting to 10th Prestige! I sent out the call a week or so ago asking who would be down for a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare all-nighter on the last weekend of Feb. and you guys answered the call. So many responded to the Twitter posting infact, that we decided to make it an even bigger deal. So here’s the plan.

Starting Tuesday Feb. 24th, the Variety Map Pack will become %50 off for those of you who still need to pick it up, leading up to the promotion, I’ll also be giving out tokens to download it for free on Twitter. When the last weekend of Feb. hits, starting Friday Feb. 27th and going until Monday morning, we’ll be flipping the ol’ mighty Double XP switch one more time!

That’s not all though, I plan on pulling an All-nighter on Friday the 27th in my attempt to finally reach Level 55 10th Prestige, and I want you guys to help get me there. To do that, we’ll be adding a new playlist to the rotation. The HARDCORE HEADQUARTERS playlist will be added on Friday 27th along with Double XP for the most XP heavy sessions you will ever see. Who’s down for a little Hardcore Headquarters on Shipment?! Carnage will ensue.

Shame Im not really gonna get chance to play this weekend. I imagine Hardcore HQ with double XP would allow uber fast rank up.
 
Wow thats very very good. The hardest game type I reckon of them all so far. It takes a lot of thinking. No longer are people grenade spamming the HQ or using RPG's. Martydom is a very bad tactic.

They don't seem to be giving hardcore kill points though, I'm sure I'm only getting 5 per kill.

Excellent been waiting a while for this game type.

I totally agree Infinity wards level of future support for the biggest MP game on the 360 is pathetic. They won't give another MP pack now. There will just be a lot of promises for number 2's support.

Even this Hardcore HQ has taken far far too long.
